Full Time, Permanent Contract 

Salary – £25,000 per annum plus on-call payments 

Car Driver with access to own vehicle is essential

Due to continuing growth we are currently looking for a talented, experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our Complex and Palliative Care Team in Newcastle.

The Role

The Deputy Manager has line management responsibility for Care Coordinators and with the Manager, shares management responsibility for all staff within the Tyneside Complex and Palliative branch.

Your duties will include ensuring that CQC standards are met for both service users and staff, managing the provision of the care service, overseeing performance, planning and organising staff training, and providing KPI and other management information as required.

Your will also be expected to undertake on-call duties on a rota basis as part of our role.

Your Skills and Knowledge

You will possess an excellent career record in the domiciliary and complex care sector, an instinctive appreciation of high quality care, excellent managerial competence, and strong leadership skills. Previous experience as at a management level would be a strong advantage.

Excellent working understanding of CQC compliance and regulations to enable the department to meet and adhere to strict guidelines.

You must be qualified at NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social care to be eligible to apply for the this vacancy.
