Due to ongoing expansion, CASA North Tyneside is currently looking for talented, experienced and enthusiastic Team Leaders to join our team.

The Role

Team Leaders are responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a team of Homecare Support Workers within a specific target area. Reporting to the Care Co-ordinator, Team Leaders establish firm, supportive relationships with care staff and carry out a range of duties that include: supporting new care workers through the induction process, monitoring the quality of care delivered to service users, attending reviews as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and handling performance issues with care staff.

Your Skills and Knowledge

The post-holder will have a good track record of working in the care sector, will have a demonstrable capacity to manage/supervise staff and will hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care.

Shift patterns are flexible enabling you to balance work and home life, however you must be prepared to work in the evenings, weekends and on bank holidays, and due to the nature of the job you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
