Shaun is a Founder of CASA and is also their longest serving employee having been a Director from the beginning in 2004. Shaun became involved with Sunderland Home Care Associates in early 1994, when Margaret Elliott outlined her plans to develop a genuinely democratic home care co-operative. Shaun was instrumental in SHCA’s award winning growth and success including their ground-breaking change to employee ownership. Throughout this time, Shaun also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors, which was democratically elected by the members in 1996.
Shaun left SHCA to start up CASA with Margaret and Guy. Shaun has fulfilled various roles within CASA including Operations Director and Registered Manager. He is currently the Compliance and Quality Director.
Victoria has worked in the financial sector for many years, previously in Financial Practice until 2011 when she joined CASA. Since 2013 Victoria has been finance director for CASA. She has not just been an exceptional accountant and hands-on with company finances but also has been commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business.
Victoria’s role is to take overall control and responsibility for all financial aspects of the business, to analyse figures and implement recommendations based on these findings. She plays a key role in ensuring CASA remains a successful social business whilst still balancing the People before Profit objective.
